When I heard there was going to be another Fast and Furious movie, I had my doubts. So when Fate of the Furious came out in theaters, I waited a whole 3 days before I went and saw it. I even left a Facebook status asking Vin Diesel to not let me down. Then the lights dimmed, and the screen got bright and started rolling all the companies involved in the movie, and I was down for the ride for the next few hours and hoping like hell I would not be disappointed.
When I was first introduced to the Ghost in the Shell franchise a little more than ten years ago, I would have never believed the franchise would grow to have a live action adaptation. I was always enthralled by the complex philosophical questions the series brought to viewers, and I have always admired how the manga, films, and anime series all became their own “stand alone” forms for the franchise (yes, the double-entendre was done on purpose).
Gorillaz fans have been long entranced with animated shorts featuring the band. Released periodically, these shorts show some of the antics and misadventures that the band gets into in-between albums, and provides insight into 2D, Murdoc, Russel, and Noodle that Continue reading →
Rarely have I run across a game that has left me as torn as Mass Effect Andromeda. First, let’s get this out of the way; Yes, the gameplay and visual style does look like Mass Effect meets Dragon Age Inquisition. However, that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. There were many positive things about Inquisition and much of that I like in Mass Effect Andromeda. There are also a lot of things that I don’t like.

Bellamy…Sometimes you are the best part of the 100 and sometimes you make me want to scream. In episode 2 of The 100, I do believe Clarke shares that same thought when she sends Bellamy to get the very thing that could save Skykru…just not everyone else. Then Bellamy does what Bellamy does best; the very opposite of what he was told. If you’ve not watched episode 2, stop reading here and seriously go watch.
The new Chapter in the John Wick has just hit the theaters in a blur of amazingly choreographed action. I have to be honest, I wasn’t holding out a lot hope for this movie, despite how much I loved the first one. I was worried they would just do the same old thing. Which it turns out they did, only better. Pay attention Hollywood, this is how you do a sequel.
