For the sake of everyone here, I will promise spoilers will NOT be present in this article. That is to say, I just got back from seeing Infinity War for what will probably be the one of two times I Continue reading →
Persona 5, the video game, was and is my first real dive into the Persona series – or anything from the Shin Megami Tensei series in general, if I’m honest. With bias, the game is faultless. Spotless. A rare shining Continue reading →
Growing up in “nerd” culture as I did, I was absorbed in video games, the Lord of the Rings, and the like. Not so much 80s culture, however. Not as much as Ready Player One, the book, would have Continue reading →
I’ve already seen The Last Jedi, and I wanted to see something with friends on Christmas Eve. The movie I ended up seeing was one of the strangest and most awkward movies I’ve ever watched: Downsizing.
When you think of sequels, you usually think “there is no way this will be better than the original”. When it is, it’s like a pleasant surprise. This was one of those movies. It’s not an amazing Continue reading →

If you’re a fan of “Batman: The Animated Series”, then this movie will be a pleasant trip down memory lane. It’s a throwback to the classic series’s episode “Harlequinade”, where Batman and Harley team up to find the Joker. This Continue reading →

When I was first introduced to the Ghost in the Shell franchise a little more than ten years ago, I would have never believed the franchise would grow to have a live action adaptation. What goes around comes around right? Who remembers the Night Blood (Luna) from the oil rig. You know the one that refused to be the next commander? Then Bellamy does what Bellamy does best; the very opposite of what he was told. If you’ve not watched episode 2, stop reading here and seriously go watch.
